The Los Angeles Homeless Services Authority is terminating contracts with Home At Last Community Development Corp. The agency cited failed services and said federal authorities seized cash tied to an address linked to one of the nonprofit's founders.

LAHSA said Tuesday it is ending contracts with interim housing provider Home At Last after the nonprofit said it would shut two temporary housing sites. The agency said the nonprofit had received enough money to operate and cited failure to provide contracted services.

The termination is expected to take effect July 22. LAHSA said most of the 181 residents affected by the planned site closures have been rehoused, as Los Angeles faces continued scrutiny over public spending on homelessness programs.
