Primm, Nevada, the casino stop on the 15 Freeway near Southern California, may avoid a shutdown after the landowners reached a deal with Terrible's. The company will take over operations from Affinity Gaming after closure notices raised the prospect of more than 300 layoffs effective July 4.

Primm Valley was the last of the town's three casino resorts still operating around the clock after Whiskey Pete's closed in 2024 and Buffalo Bill's scaled back in 2025. The site matters to Los Angeles area drivers because it has long been a border stop on trips between Southern California and Las Vegas.
